I've known this Johnny Depp look alike since I was a wee little one and I consider him to be one of my best friends. I usually introduce him as "the man that makes me beautiful" because he is an extremely talented hair stylist in Tacoma, WA. What he does is art, not work. Remember the scene in Edward Scissorhands when he cuts the hair of all the neighborhood women? That always reminds me of him, with the exception of the kooky hair styles. This man has ALWAYS been there for me, through thick and thin and even through silly fights we had.
He was my first love yet now a brother to me. He always makes me feel beautiful for just being me and has never failed me as a friend. And I have to mention again that his hair cuts must come from God himself; because he is brilliant!
We have been through so much together that I could write a bloody book on our friendship. Over a year ago, for my 21st birthday, my Mom made me a book where all my friends and family had written letters to me explaining why they loved me and why they were my friend. It was an amazing book but when I read what he wrote, I broke down in tears. It was so beautiful and to think I thought he had forgotten about me when I was going through a rough relationship and had lost contact with almost everyone. I know that I can always go to him for anything and he will have my back. Besides being an amazing, beautiful man, I admire him for all his talents and artisic ways. I am so proud of him for following his dreams and never giving up. I will always love this kid with every ounce of my heart and soul. Not to mention he makes the best god damn fried rice in the world.
